Pendennis Castle Wedding | Lauren & Simon
Thankyou so much for our lovely photos. They all look amazing.
We will make sure we share with everyone to show what an amazing job you’ve done.
I’ve wanted to shoot a Pendennis Castle Wedding for a long time. Living in Falmouth I’ve visited the castle many times, but Lauren & Simon’s Wedding was the first time that I got to photograph a wedding there. And it was just perfect!
Lauren & Simon said that it was the only venue that they both liked and agreed on. It’s such a beautiful location for a wedding and they couldn’t wait to get married there.
Pendennis Castle Wedding | Lauren & Simon
Lauren & Simon met in Falmouth’s infamous Club I back in 2016. But it didn’t get off to the romantic start that you’d expect, as Lauren told Simon to go away. Thanks to the powers of social media they connected a few months later and Simon asked Lauren to go on a date. Dinner at Budock Vean, a few more dates and they were in love.
Describing each other, Simon said that Lauren is very loving and very excited all the time. The energy that comes from her excitement glows from her and makes everyone else almost go into a giggly trance of excitement too.
And talking of Simon, Lauren described him as a very funny person who always loves to make bad jokes, he always makes her laugh. He is very caring and will do anything for anyone. He is very romantic and loving even though he doesn’t like to admit it.
Talking about their wedding, Lauren was most excited about getting to wear her wedding dress and to walk down the aisle to see Simon standing there. They really couldn’t wait to get married.
On their wedding day, the weather was amazing and the ceremony was the only time that they spent indoors. Following the ceremony, the wedding party was outside to celebrate their marriage whilst overlooking the sea and the views of Falmouth.
They then took the short journey down to the Falmouth Hotel for the wedding breakfast and to continue the party. Again the afternoon & evening was spent outside, under the palm trees with the views of the ocean from the hotel’s gardens.
