Ever since meeting Penny & Dan I’d been looking forward to their Lostwithiel Church Wedding.  They are a lovely couple who fit perfectly together and their day was one of love, laughter & emotion.

My day started with Dan as he & his best men arrived the church for their Lostwithiel Church Wedding, and just as the rain arrived too!  But lucky this was the only rain of the day and we soon back to a stunning Cornish summers day for Penny’s arrival.

Following their Lostwithiel Church Wedding ceremony, we went to Restomel Castle for some pictures before heading to Bissoe for the reception which was held at Dan’s family home in a marquee which had been beautifully decorated by Penny’s mum..

Penny & Dan stylishly arrived in a Morgan sports car to cheers from their family & friends.  After the wedding breakfast the speeches gave us the full range of emotions.  But none more so from one of the best men, who got a little tearful at one point.

The evening celebrations got underway with Penny’s father who’s band ‘Rickety Bones’ started with the first dance, then had the guests dancing with a collection of classic tracks.  Cornish band Hitpinch played a later set which kept the party going into the early hours.
