Heligan Gardens Wedding
Did you know you can get married at the Lost Gardens of Heligan?
A Heligan Gardens Wedding blends wild, overgrown beauty with a sense of mystery, offering a unique and atmospheric backdrop for an unconventional celebration.
Tucked away in the heart of Cornwall, the Lost Gardens of Heligan offers a wedding setting like no other. Heligan is one of the most popular gardens in the UK and isn’t your typical manicured wedding venue. It’s a living, breathing wonderland and where Polly & Neil were married.
Heligan Gardens Wedding | Polly & Neil
A Heligan Gardens Wedding is like stepping into a secret garden and couples are drawn there because it doesn’t feel like a venue, it feels like a discovery.
Polly & Neil fell in love with the Lost Gardens of Heligan and not wanting a standard wedding, Heligan felt perfect for their wedding.
For such a huge place Heligan feels intimate and gives you the space to do things your own way. Polly & Neil chose to marry in the Italian Garden, with their reception in The Stewards House.
As you can imagine a Heligan Gardens Wedding is a photographer’s dream and there feels like a photo opportunity wherever you turn. After the vows, Neil & Polly took a walk through the Kitchen Garden and the Head Gardener’s Office for photos before joining their family & friends on the lawn of the Stewards House.
Now for the real reason we all love weddings, the food! And the food at Heligan is always outstanding. A Heligan Gardens Wedding feast leans into what’s growing and what’s fresh. Much of the produce is grown onsite or sourced locally, so you’re eating food that comes from the same soil you’re celebrating on. Think wood-fired bread, garden greens still tasting of sunshine, slow-roasted meats, wild mushrooms, heirloom tomatoes and edible flowers.
This isn’t about perfection on a plate, it’s about depth and flavour.
