Ben Howard returned to the Eden Sessions for his 3rd appearance, this time in support of his new album ‘Noonday Dream‘.
It’s the first album that I’ve really enjoyed from Ben and that is thanks to last years project ‘A Blaze of Feather’. I think the sound that they found with Blaze has influenced Noonday Dream and although it may have spit the audience a little, its great to see Ben develop as an artist and really push his music in a new & bold direction. And it really carried over live, there’s so much going on with the new songs that I found myself immersed with the sound and Eden was definitely the perfect setting for the show.

Opening the show was Gwenno, who I finally got to see live. And it won’t be the last time this year with shows at Boardmasters, Sea Change and back in Falmouth that I’ll be shooting. Her set was beautiful as the sun began to set over the Eden biomes.
