Cornish Camels Wedding
Cornish Camels Wedding | Lindsey & Gavin
Lindsey & Gavin’s Cornish Camels Wedding was one of the most epic weddings that I got to shoot this year.
There were camels, there was Company B playing and there was lots of Gin involved!

My day at Lindsey & Gavin’s Cornish Camels Wedding started with Lindsey at the Shipwright Arms in Helford, Cornwall. It is an idyllic location and boasts a stunning view across the Helford Passage. This made it the perfect location for Lindsey and her Bridal Party to get ready.
From Shipwrights it was a short journey to Cornish Camels where Gavin and their guests were arriving. Cornish Camels is a unique venue as there are a couple of different locations to the farm. Most of which were used for Lindsey & Gavin’s Cornish Camels Wedding. The wedding ceremony was held outdoors at the Corn Chamber, which dates back to the 15th Century. It provided the most beautiful backdrop and I loved shooting around the Corn Chamber. The light and colours were just incredible.
Lindsey & Gavin then led their wedding party to the gardens of the farms cottage where they were toasted with Prosecco & Gin, before heading to the Camel Centre for their Reception. The Camel Centre has a quirky twist to it with windows down one side of the building look directly into the camel shed. During the speeches Gavin’s brother surprised everyone during his speech, when he played and sang a song that he’d written for them, and then it was onto the evening.
With Lindsey & Gavin’s love of music being one of the theme’s for the day there was only one way for the evening to go and that was with live music from one of their favourite bands Company B.
Company B are a rowdy, energetic and vibrant seven piece jump-jive band that bring an era of musical vintage bang up to date with show stoppin’ performances and were the perfect finish to Lindsey & Gavin’s Cornish Camels Wedding. As you will see from the pictures, the dance floor was full and everyone partied until last orders were called.
Lindsey & Gavin, I can’t thankyou enough for having me along to photograph your Cornish Camels Wedding. From the moment you got in contact and told me of your plans I knew that it was going to be one amazing day!
Congratulations to you both!
