They held their Dartmoor Wedding at Beth’s parents house on the edge of the Devon moors. From the garden wall, the views of Dartmoor strectch to the horizon, such a perfect and personal setting for a home celebration.
Dartmoor Wedding – Beth & Carlos
A big part of Beth & Carlos’ Dartmoor Wedding plan was to spend as much time out in the garden as possible, but on the morning of the wedding the typical English weather was giving us plenty of wind & rain.
Now Carlos is Spanish, and a huge conginacy of his family & friends had made the trip over to the UK for their day. And, by the time that Beth had put her wedding dress on, it felt like the Spanish weather had followed them as the sun began to shine!
Their wedding ceremony was conducted in both Spanish & English and had so much laughter and emotion. It was a pure joy to document as there were so many amazing moments between Beth & Carlos throughout the ceremony. They didn’t stop smiling throughout the ceremony and for the rest of the day.
After the ceremony, the afternoon was spent with their family & friends in the garden overlooking Dartmoor before we went off to around the gardens to make some portraits, before the wedding breakfast and speeches.
The evening started off with Carlos & his family hitting the dancefloor before the cake was even cut! And of course soon after the band started the whole place was dancing, and the epic party which followed went on till the early hours!

Looking back on the day, Beth & Carlos said:
‘The day was perfect. We had so much quality time with our guests and we still had so many great pictures. Our favourite time was the dancing, because we could enjoy mixing with everyone and having fun’.
