I love being a St Ives Wedding Photographer as it is one of the most stunning locations in Cornwall. And returning to one of my favourite wedding venues is always a bonus.
Michelle & Andrew married at the St Ives Harbour Hotel Cornwall. The hotel is perfectly positioned overlooking Porthminster Beach and St Ives Harbour. The Cornish coastline and locality to the beach make for scenic and epic pictures, which is exactly what Michelle & Andrew wanted.

Michelle & Andrew live in the Midlands and had made the wedding into a mini holiday. Many of their family & friends also made the most of the summer in Cornwall. I joined Andrew as the guests were arriving ahead of the ceremony as they waited for Michelle’s arrival.
One of my favourite moments at every wedding is the bride’s entrance and the couple first see each other. As Michelle walked down the aisle with her dad, she had the biggest smile you can imagine and Andrew looked overwhelmed with emotion.
After the confetti was thrown there was a drinks reception on the hotel terrace to toast the newlyweds. The weather was perfect and the view overlooking St Ives had the guests in awe of its beauty. We took this chance to head to the beach for some portraits before Michelle & Andrew were welcomed back for their wedding breakfast.
It was amazing to have been part of their wedding day and to provide Michelle & Andrew with memories that they will treasure forever.
