Wroxall Abbey Wedding with Megan & Tom. Last summer I was back in the West Midlands for the Megan & Tom’s Wedding at Knowle Parish Church & Wroxall Abbey.
It was back to my hometown of Birmingham for Megan & Tom’s Wroxall Abbey Wedding. The day began at Megans family home in the beautiful little village of Knowle. I have know Megan’s family for over twenty years as one of my oldest friends is married to Beckie, one of her sisters. So not only did I get to photograph an amazing wedding, I got to catch up with some great friends.
The ceremony itself was at the local parish Church in Knowle and was just a short journey from Megan’s family home. Megan & Tom were married by a family friend who had flown in especially for the day.
Their wedding reception was held at Wroxall Abbey, a Victorian mansion house close to Knowle. This was the first time that I have been to the venue and I can see why Megan & Tom’s chose Wroxall Abbey for their Wedding Reception.
It is a grand venue and has a very relaxed and welcoming feel to it. The location of Wroxall Abbey is stunning and the weather was perfect for the wedding party to enjoy the location. And for a walk around the gardens to get some photos.
Megan & Tom’s love of fine dining and wine was reflected at the wedding breakfast with the tables being named after some of their favourite restaurants, and the wine was personally chosen to accompany the meal.
Their first dance was to Bryan Adams and was played by the band who had the wedding party up and dancing for the rest of the night.
Megan & Tom, congratulations on becoming Mr & Mrs and thankyou for having me along to share & photograph your wedding day.
