Boconnoc House Wedding | Amber & Robin
Boconnoc House is a luxurious venue for weddings, and it’s where Amber & Robin spend the weekend for their celebrations.
You’ll rarely find a luxury wedding venue in Cornwall with grounds as extensive and beautiful as Boconnoc. The estate is hidden in a secluded corner of Southeast Cornwall and it feels private, exclusive even.
This means that your guests can shout in excitement during the confetti, and dance into the night with only the local wildlife to hear you.
And it’s this exclusivity and freedom that Boconnoc has, that gave Amber & Robin the freedom to create a wedding day they’ll never forget.
Boconnoc House Wedding | Amber & Robin
Boconnoc is one of the most stunning wedding venues in Cornwall and there really isn’t anything else quite like it. So when you add into the mix a gorgeous bride and groom, lots of fab guests and friends, and some awesome music, you have one hell of a wedding!
If Amber & Robin could have had a better wedding day then I don’t know how. Their family and friends had stayed the night before and the Friday evening was spent in the Stable Yard. It was a relaxed mix of old friends catching up and family excitedly anticipating the big day ahead.
On the Wedding day, Amber Robin got ready at opposite ends of Boconnoc with plenty of room for bridesmaids, groomsmen and the odd family member to help.
Meanwhile, Event’s & Wedding Producer, Rebecca from Rebel & Anchor had the day running smoothly as staff set up long tables for the wedding breakfast and the string quartet prepared for the ceremony.
Rebecca is one of my good friends, so working alongside her at this wedding made it even more special, this is what she said about the wedding.
“Amber & Robin’s Boconnoc House Wedding weekend was definitely a fun-filled affair and a highlight for us this season. Effortlessly stylish with a great sense of humour and a lot of love. Boconnoc is a beautiful place and allows each couple to put their own stamp on their celebrations. It becomes theirs for the weekend allowing friends and family to truly relax.
When it was time for the ceremony guests gathered in the Dorothy Garden and the Wedding Arbour was beautifully decorated by Wild Renata Flowers. Lara had created one of the most stunning florals that I’ve seen at a wedding.
Amber made her entrance along the Stewardry Walk and around the fountain accompanied by her Mother. The gardens were the perfect setting for a beautifully heartfelt ceremony.
We then had confetti on the main drive, followed by oysters, champagne and a well-stocked bar. Guests laughed and shared stories as the sun shone on this perfect summer’s day.
I was able to steal the Amber & Robin away for a few photos. They didn’t want their pictures to be posed and we got some gorgeous shots in front of the stunning Boconnoc House and also inside on the staircase, which is equally as stunning and makes for some unbelievable photos.
A little time away from the party always gives the couple an excuse to spend a little time being close and one of the rare moments on a wedding day where they get to spend some time alone.
Inside some awesome speeches followed the food, which were hilarious and heartfelt in equal measure.
As the eveing began to draw in, it was time for the real festivities to begin. Amber & Robin made their entrance as the band played their first dance. Guests huddled around the dancefllor and romance soon turned to celebratory chaos as friends and family flooded the dancefloor.
Honestly I don’t think I need to say any more about Amber & Robin’s wedding as as the photos tell the story.
