Hotel Tresanton Wedding | St Mawes
Hotel Tresanton Wedding | St Mawes with Sarah & Andrew on a perfect day in June. The Hotel Tresanton was the perfect choice of venue for Sarah & Andrew. It complimented their plans for a small and personal gathering of family & friends to celebrate their marriage.
If you’ve never been to St Mawes, it is one of the most beautiful locations in Cornwall. It is a small fishing village just across the water from Falmouth. And on a summers day like it was for this wedding, there is nowhere better. The Hotel Tresanton is located just on the edge of St Mawes with views across to St Anthony’s lighthouse.
I joined Andrew just after he’d arrived at Tresanton as he welcomed their guests and everyone gathered out on the terrace. The intimate ceremony took place in the Cinema Room with Sarah’s son walking her in. Emotion took over with Sarah as the ceremony began, but the love from Andrew helped to relax her and there was plenty of smiles & laughter as their vowes were exchanged.
From the ceremony it was down to the Beach Club for Champagne & Canapes. I then managed to steal Sarah & Andrew away for a few pictures down on the small beach just down from the hotel.
Back up to the Beach Club for more champagne and then the wedding party headed into the hotel for the wedding breakfast. The cinema room had been beautifully transformed and everybody was sat at one huge table. The speeches that followed were both emotional and hilarious.
Whilst they ate I had a little time to myself on the terrace enjoying the stunning view. I sat there thinking how much I love photographing weddings. Especially when I get to spend the day with some amazing people at some amazing locations.
As the evening continued, I left Sarah & Andrew & their guests on the terrance. They celebrated and enjoyed the perfect summers evening in Cornwall.
Sarah & Andrew chose my Half Day Package which covers wedding photography from the ceremony to the first dance. All packages can be viewed on my pricing page, or alternatively contact me for more information.
