One summer not too long ago, Katie worked in a tiny post office in Sennen. And it was there that she first laid eyes on a handsome fellow by the name of Alex. After a second chance encounter, she hoped he’d notice her, but to no avail.

As fate stepped in, she had to find a new house to rent and there she finally met Alex!

As it goes these days, it was only when the internet failed in the shared house that they sat down together and got to know one another. And from there it was history.

A night out with Alex dressed as a pirates wench and Katie the pirate, they danced their merry socks off and sparks flew, but alas she was preparing to move to France to work another ski season.

But an ocean wouldn’t stop their fun and six years later they are now happily married, still adventuring and arguing about the washing up.
