Stephen Duffy

Last summer I spent some time with Stephen Duffy to create some portraits for the promotion of the forthcoming Lilac Time album.

Stephen continues to have one of the most remarkable careers in music. Beginning life in Duran Duran, solo success with Stephen ‘Tintin’ Duffy through to co-writing songs with Barenaked Ladies and an album with Robbie Williams. A journey that began in Birmingham and now happily resides in Cornwall.

Through this incredible career, the Lilac Time has been consistent in Stephen’s life since he and his brother Nick formed the band in 1986. The new album ‘Return To Us’ is the bands 10th album. It features Stephen, his brother Nick & his wife Claire and it is absolutely beautiful. Have a listen to the album and buy yourself a copy here. 

But when it comes to the images and whatever the journey has been.  I want to capture where people are now and reflect this time in their lives.
