Stone Barn Wedding
Rebecca & Tom met on basic training in the RAF, not too far from their Stone Barn Wedding. And since that meeting, they have been inseparable. They wanted a relaxing & rustic feel to their day and chose Cripps Stone Barn. A beautiful venue in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Stone Barn Wedding | Rebecca & Tom
Rebecca & Tom Stone Barn Wedding was about family, friends, and everyone enjoying themselves. Ahead of the wedding, they said ‘We are both looking forward to spending our special day with the people who mean the most to us. Eating, drinking, dancing and laughing. We look forward to making a commitment to each other in front of family and friends’.
I started the day with Rebecca as she got ready with her Bridesmaids & family at a beautiful cottage close to Stone Barn. Rebecca’s father’s reaction when he first saw her in her wedding dress was pure love & emotion. Now that I have a daughter, these moments have taken on more meaning to me and found myself being caught up in the emotion. It was the same later in the day when Rebecca’s Dad talked about her during his speech.
Over at Stone Barn, Tom was getting ready with his Groomsmen. All looking incredible in their uniforms. The ceremony took place in the barn which was beautifully decorated. Rebecca arrived with military precision after being driven to the barn in their friend’s custom Land Rover. The reactions in the barn when she entered the rooms were amazing, and a few tears were shed!
Following the ceremony drinks and canapés were served and the guests enjoyed the run of the venue. As I mentioned earlier, Rebecca’s Dad gave a speech that touched on all the emotions before Tom’s groomsmen had the room crying with laughter.
As the evening began, I took some time to slip away with Rebecca & Tom take a few portraits. It was then back to the party where they made the most of the evening and partied well into the early hours.
